MANAGEMENT

David Hitchcock OBE, Executive Chairman
David Hitchcock OBE is a globally recognised investment strategist and senior executive, with an extensive track record and network across private equity, institutional capital and corporate finance. As a Managing Director at JPMorgan for over a decade, he led the EMEA institutional client and hedge fund franchise – one of the bank’s largest in the region. David managed client relationships over this time that cumulatively delivered several billion dollars in revenue. His team worked with notable sovereign wealth funds, including the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Kuwait Investment Office, and Government of Singapore Investment Corporation. His team also managed EMEA relationships with several other global institutional investors such as BlackRock and Schroders.

Lloyd Schultz, Capital Markets Director
Lloyd Schultz is an expert consultant and adviser on investment banking, law, private equity and venture capital after 28 years’ experience in the field. Among other engagements, he has advised the Saudi Government in the design, launch and implementation of a USD 400 million program to support private equity and venture capital in order to improve funding for SMEs in Saudi Arabia. After initially training as a lawyer, he spent much of his professional career as an investment banker with Credit Suisse First Boston in London, where he worked in Equity Capital Markets and was involved in several privatisations, including the privatisation of ENI in Italy. Lloyd also worked with IBJ International in London.

John Kinsella, Corporate Finance Director
John Kinsella is a seasoned financial executive and board adviser with nearly four decades of experience across banking, structured finance, and corporate governance. His career has spanned senior roles at Schroders and Citigroup, where he specialised in structured debt, derivatives, and M&A-related financing, working primarily with UK-based multinational clients. At Citi, he served as EMEA Head of Specialised Structured Finance and played a key role in capital and liquidity management during and after the financial crisis, including the restructuring of international operations to meet complex post-Brexit regulatory and tax requirements. John has also led strategic business disposals and developed innovative financing structures, notably introducing the first offshore UK real estate unit trusts.
SENIOR ADVISORS

Prof. Simon Taylor, Senior Advisor – Finance & Management
After degrees in economics from Cambridge, Oxford and the LSE, Simon began 15 years of experience in the City, mainly as an equity analyst at JPMorgan and Citigroup. He joined Judge Business School as a Lecturer in Finance in 2007 and was the Director of the Master of Finance programme from its inception in 2008 until 2018.
He is currently Management Practice Professor in Finance at Judge Business School, Cambridge and has published two books on the British nuclear power industry. His work on nuclear power was awarded the Judge Business School prize for research impact in 2017. From 2021 to 2025 Simon was the Director of the new Global EMBA, the first Cambridge Judge programme to be taught partly outside the UK.

Stephen Berger, Senior Advisor – M&A
Stephen has extensive corporate finance and investment advisory experience from his 30-year career in Asia, beginning in 1984 when he spent 8 years with HSBC in London, Singapore and Hong Kong, He then joined J.P. Morgan & Co. in Hong Kong and was ultimately appointed Managing Director of their investment banking group in Singapore covering Southeast Asia, and co-head of M&A across all of Asia. After J.P. Morgan, Stephen worked in boutique corporate finance and investment advisory firms, providing strategic and financial advice to multinational companies, regional governments and family-owned enterprises across Southeast Asia. He holds a BA from Dartmouth College and an MA from Trinity College, Cambridge University where he was an active rower and President of the Cambridge University Boat Club.

Angus Dodd, Senior Advisor – Real Estate
Angus Dodd has over 30 years’ experience of real estate investing and underwriting, and is a deeply knowledgeable investor having reviewed and analysed hundreds of deals in the sector. He has worked in real estate and private equity since 1989, most recently co-founding a real estate advisory and investment boutique and was, prior to that, CEO of Quintain – the owner of Wembley Park, an 85-acre, £3bn mixed-use development scheme surrounding Wembley Stadium. Angus was also previously Senior Managing Director and Co-head of European Real Estate at Lone Star, which acquired Quintain in a public-to-private transaction in 2015. During his time at Lone Star, he was responsible for the origination, transaction and management of the firm’s acquisitions in the UK and Ireland. These included NPL, corporate and direct real estate purchases, as well as development and land deals. Angus holds an MA in Land Economy from Cambridge University.

Rodney Ballard, Senior Advisor – International Banking & Trade Finance
Rodney Ballard has developed an international career in banking which spans over forty years, working in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America. He has built a proven-track record advising clients on structured finance and deal optimisation and supporting them to successfully raise financing from a wide variety of sources to support both public and private sector developments. This has included using a variety of mitigants from insurers and government-supported Export Credit Agencies, as well as assisting in negotiations with suppliers and off-takers. Rodney also set up the Islamic Finance business of one of the largest shariah-compliant banks in the UK, as well as maintaining in-depth knowledge of the ever-complexifying areas of compliance and governance.
